Jan Gogola

Born in 1971. He is a director, script editor and lecturer at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). As a script editor Gogola collaborated for example in the Czech Dream (V. Klusak, F. Remunda) or in the films of V. Chytilova or H. Trestikova. He is also author of a number of reviews, articles and essays, for example “Death to the Documentary Film”. Now he is working on the film “EXCURSIONOW” about European history face to face. Winner of awards at the International Film Festival in Jihlava and Cracow Film Festival for his film “Mám ráda nudný život.“
