Carsten Aschmann

Carsten Aschmann lives and works in Hanover, Germany. He studied experimental film at the HBK Braunschweig in Gerhard Büttenbender and Birgit Hein’s film class. In 1996 he was honoured as “Meisterschüler” of the HBK film class. For the last few years he has frequently worked as an editor and producer with hula-offline on documentary projects. Mainly he is a filmmaker, and a screenwriter. His films are screening worldwide. Festivals worldwide include Rotterdam, Berlin, Montreal, Kelibia, Saint Petersburg, Arnhem, Wrocław, Cracow, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Valencia, Utrecht, Lisbon, Mexico City (s. also www.hula-offline.de).
